Kings Defeat Defending Champs

Kings rout Spurs late in 4th quarter.

DMC going for a tough layup against Spurs Tim Duncan

Coming off a shocking loss in Memphis on      Thursday night the Sacramento Kings defeat the  NBA defending champions San Antonio Spurs in Sleep Train Arena on Saturday night.  Spurs have been on a winning streak lately but the Kings just found many ways to shut them down. Coach Popovich and the Spurs had no answers to the Kings excellent defense and offense on the court.  Darren Collison had a great game with 19 points and 5 assists along with a clutch layup late in the 4th quarter.  DMC as usual had a big double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds.  The Kings are playing great basketball right now and this win is a big milestone for the Kings this season and they hope to see more wins like this in the future.  The Kings will be hosting Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans Tuesday.  Its going to be a tough game defending Anthony Davis but the Kings have the talent to beat any team in the NBA.
